Belrose Park Top Cat did us proud achieving Top Ten in the Newcomer Large Pony Section. He continued his success on Sunday thrilling us by reaching the Top Ten in the Open Large Pony and showing beautiful work in the final.
Top Cat has continued on with this early success in 2009 by placing 3rd at the Melbourne Royal Show in the ridden pony 13 – 13.2 hh and also 3rd at the Geelong Royal Show in the ridden pony 13 – 13.2 hh. At Geelong Royal he was Reserve Champion Led gelding or mare Riding Pony – 12.2 hh – 13.2 hh, and Champion Ridden Riding Pony.
Another big weekend for Top Cat was at the Riding Pony Pageant. He again was Reserve Champion Led gelding or mare Riding Pony – 12.2 hh – 13.2 hh and then he won the Riding Pony Pageant’s Ridden Supreme event which is called The Weston Mirage Memorial Grand Champion Ridden Exhibit.
His 2009 show run ended successfully at the Show Hack Council Horse of the Year Show when he was runner up 12.2 – 14 hh Ridden Childs Pony and then went Top 10 12.2 – 14 hh Open Ridden Pony. We are so happy with his 2009 show success.
